Council Banggar Approves BPRD Budget Proposals

Jakarta Council's Budget Agency (Banggar) approved all budget proposals submitted by Jakarta Taxation and Retribution Agency (BPRD).

Jakarta Council's Banggar Deputy Head, Triwisaksana mentioned, no problem with budget that has been submitted by BPRD since it is considered balance.

"We have given approval for all proposals. There are increase and decrease in budget amount. No problem, since its amount is fixed and balance," he conveyed, Wednesday (9/19).

He also encourages executives to increase revenue tax in Jakarta. Especially for vehicle tax (PKB) and land and building tax (PBB).

"We want optimization of tax increase. But residents should be not burdened by it. For example is to provide subsidy for poor people," he added.

For information, Jakarta BPRD submitted budget reduction in KUPA-PPAS 2018 Amendment. Previously, it has budgeted around Rp 3.3 billion for special service vehicles fuel procurement and now it is reduced by Rp 2 billion.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Council's Banggar also approved an increase in budget for regional tax service system which is previously budgeted Rp 37 billion in City Budget 2018, now it is added by around Rp 4.7 billion.
